SHS students accept Polar Plunge challenge for Special Olympics

24 Stayton High students have signed up to jump in the Willamette River to help raise money for the Special Olympics. Follow the link  for more information or to sponsor either a student or the whole team.
 

Stayton High welcomes new principal

Stayton High School and the North Santiam School District announced a change in administration. Robert Abdou, who has been an assistant principal at Stayton High since the beginning of the 2008-9 school year, has accepted the position of Stayton High School Principal. NSSD Superintendent Dr. Jack Adams announced the change, and Mr. Abdou addressed the staff in a meeting on January 4. 

Mr. Abdou replaces Charlotte Klampe, who has accepted a position at the North Santiam District Office.
